Every fly screen we install in Dubai carries a full one year warranty on the frame, the mesh and every fitting. This page is the detail behind that sentence: what is covered, what is not, how long it runs, and exactly what to do if something goes wrong.
Read it before you pay a deposit to anyone. A fly screen warranty in Dubai that nobody will put in writing is not really a warranty.
What the one year warranty covers
The cover is on the whole screen, not just the mesh. Parts and labour are both included, and there is no call-out charge anywhere in Dubai.

What the warranty does not cover
The warranty is against faults in what we made and how we fitted it. Four things sit outside it: If a closer stops holding the door shut, adjusting the sweep and latch valves usually solves it in minutes.
- Impact damage. A cut, tear or puncture from a pet, a child, furniture or a tool.
- Work by others. Damage caused by removing, refitting or modifying the screen yourself, or by another contractor.
- Building work after us. Damage during window replacement, painting, facade cleaning or a fit-out.
- Forcing a jammed panel. If a screen sticks, call us. Pulling harder is what turns a five minute adjustment into a new panel.
If you are not sure which side of that line you are on, send a photo on WhatsApp before you do anything else. We look at every case on its facts, and plenty of things that sound like damage turn out to be a spring or a guide rail we can reset for free.
How long the warranty runs on each type of work
A new screen. Twelve months from the installation date, on every type we make — single pleated, double pleated, extra wide, roll up and the rest. The cover is the same whether the screen cost AED 450 or AED 1,000.
Mesh replacement. Twelve months on the new mesh and spline from the date of the visit. If we made the frame and it is still inside its own twelve months, the frame keeps its original cover — re-meshing does not restart or cancel it.
After twelve months. Work becomes chargeable, and we quote from the published mesh replacement price list rather than inventing a number at your door.
How to claim, in three steps
- Send two photos on WhatsApp. One of the whole screen in its opening, one close up of the fault. Add the building or villa name.
- We answer the same working day and tell you plainly whether it is a warranty item or a chargeable one, with the price if it is chargeable.
- We attend, usually within the same week. Warranty visits are free and the technician arrives with the parts already on the van, so it is one visit, not two.
There is no form to fill in and no receipt to dig out. Your address, the screens fitted and the installation date are on file. Keep the invoice anyway — it makes the first message faster.
What keeps the warranty valid
Nothing onerous. Three habits cover it:
- Rinse the mesh with plain water every few months. Dubai dust is abrasive and it is what ages a screen fastest. No pressure washer, no solvent, no scrubbing brush — there is more on this in our fly screen maintenance guide. - Do not force a panel that has started to stick.
- Tell us before another trade removes a screen, so we can refit it properly afterwards.
Why we can put a full year behind it
We manufacture in our own Dubai workshop and our own team fits what we make, so there is no supplier to blame and no subcontractor to chase. Warranty questions we are actually asked
My cat went through the mesh. Is that covered?
No — that is impact damage, not a fault. It is also one of the most common reasons people call us, and it is quick and cheap to put right: the frame stays, only the mesh and spline are replaced. If it happens more than once, ask about pet-resistant mesh when we come out.
Do I need the original invoice to claim?
No. We hold the installation record against your address. The invoice only speeds up the first message.
Does the warranty transfer if I move out or sell?
Yes. The cover is on the screen, not the person, and it runs twelve months from the installation date whoever is living there. Ask the new occupant to quote the original address.
The same fault has come back. What then?
We treat a repeat of the same fault as unfinished work, not a new claim. If a component has failed twice we replace it rather than adjust it again, still inside the original twelve months.
Will you re-mesh a frame you did not make?
Usually yes, if the frame and its track are sound. The twelve months then covers the mesh and spline we fitted — we cannot warrant somebody else’s aluminium.
Is the warranty different for a cheaper screen?
No. Every screen we install carries the same twelve months on frame, mesh and fittings, whatever it cost.
